Finnish Biogas Association is a non-governmental organization of companies, individuals and associations with interest in the biogas field. We promote the use and development of biogas and organic fertilizers in Finland. We want to influence the positive development of the biogas sector by taking part in the national and EU-level legislative development, by participating in the public discussions and by providing information. The primary source material of interest are biowaste (liquid and solid) and other types of biomasses. Anaerobic digestion is the core technology, but the production of synthetic biogas and renewable methane from other renewable energy sources are also included in the field of activities.

FORENINGEN BIOGASBRANCHEN

The Danish Biogas Association is a NGO organising all stakeholders in the biogas sector in Denmark: Biogas plants, biogas plant constructors and subsuppliers, consultans, biomass suppliers, energy sector, waste sector, agriculture, knowledge institutions etcetera. The Danish Biogas Association is working for framework conditions that promote sustainable production and use of biogas which also deliver solutions to meet societal challenges regarding climate change, eutrohication of aquatic environment, reuse of ressources in a circular economy and Development of a fossil free, low emission society. In addition the association promote research, capacity building and knowledge dissemination.
