Oslo may be reached from all continents with direct flights or via Copenhagen, with departures for Oslo every hour. Oslo Airport Gardermoen is one of the most modern airports in Europe and is situated 50 km from the city centre. The airlines offer individual service to passengers with reduced mobility and special needs. Please indicate your needs when you make your flight reservation. If you use a wheelchair, please note that a wheelchair powered by a spillable battery has to be sent as cargo. Your local airline booking office will provide more information.

The Airport Express Train, Flytoget, takes you from Oslo Airport Gardermoen to Oslo Central Station in 19 minutes. (Leaves every 10 minutes). The fare is NOK 180 to Oslo Central Station and Nationaltheateret one way. The Airport Express Train is accessible and can hold between three and six wheelchair users on each departure. If you are a wheelchair user, please contact an Airport Express Train service attendance, at the airport, before departure.
 

Ticketless travel with the Airport Express Train

When  you travel from Oslo Airport you need only swipe your card at the barrier and select your destination. There is no need to swipe your card again on arrival. When travelling  from one of the two stations in the city center swipe your card in the card reader at the station before boarding. When you arrive at Oslo Airport you swipe the same card again to pass through the barrier.

You obtain a receipt by registering your details on My Page. This page also provides you with an option to receive the receipt automatically by email next time you travel by the Airport Express Train. Your receipt will be stored for 700 days, which allow you to register your details after the journey.

Night landings at Oslo Airport

After the last departure at 0100 a.m from Oslo Airport to the city center, the airport busses depart 40 minutes after each flight arrival. This applies to approximately 0500 a.m., From this point on the regular timetable applies.
 
Airport taxi

Airport Taxis take you to and from Oslo Airport Gardermoen and Oslo City Centre at fixed rates. We reccomend you to use Oslo Taxi. On arrival, please contact the taxi information desk in the arrival hall. The price for a taxi trip to Oslo city center is approximately NOK 1.000. Please ask the driver to give you a price for the journey before you board the taxi. Taxis accessible to wheelchair users are available. To Moss Airport Rygge (RYG)

Moss Airport Rygge is centrally located in south-eastern Norway, less than an hour from Oslo City Centre. With a new terminal building, infrastructure, parking area and runway, this airport is personally organized to offer a wide spectrum of national and international scheduled routes and charter traffic. Rygge- Ekspressen corresponds with all Ryanair flights. The Rygge-Ekspress starts from Oslo bussterminal Approx. 2 hours and 50 minuts before flight departure time at Rygge airport .

To Sandefjord Airport Torp (TRF)

Sandefjord Airport Torp is located 110 km from Oslo and can be reached via Copenhagen and Stockholm, but also directly from some other European cities. Airlines with frequent flights to Sandefjord Airport Torp:

  • Ryanair

The Torp Express bus service to Oslo (Torp Ekspressen) corresponds with Ryanair’s Torp – London, Glasgow and Frankfurt Hahn flights. The service is open to all passengers travelling to and from Torp, but has a limited number of daily departures. The fare is approximately NOK 120 one way. The buses are not accessible to wheelchair users. The Telemark Express (Telemarkekspressen) runs a coach service that stops at Sandefjord Airport Torp and at the railway station in Sandefjord (8 km from the airport) and corresponds with trains to Oslo. The trip takes about 17 minutes from the airport to the railway station with daily departures from the airport 10 minutes past every hour Monday to Friday (reduced service at weekends). The fare is approximately NOK 35 one way. The buses are not accessible to wheelchair users.

Taxis provide easy and expedient transportation from Sandefjord Airport Torp to the railway station in Sandefjord. The trip takes 10 minutes and the fare is approx. NOK 150. The taxis are not accessible to wheelchair users.


 By train


These runs via Oslo Airport Gardermoen and take you to Oslo Central Station in 25-40 minutes. The fare are approximately NOK 90 to Oslo Central Station one way when tickets are purchased before departure. These trains are less accessible to wheelchair users.


Modern, clean and comfortable trains link Oslo to other Scandinavian cities. Norwegian National Rail (NSB) takes you from Gothenburg to Oslo and Swedish Rail (SJ) takes you from Malmö and Stockholm to Oslo.

 By bus

Airport Express Bus
At the airport, the bus depart from platform 11. You  will find the bus by going out of the terminal and to the right. Tickets can be bought online, at ticket vending machines or directly with the driver.
 

Oslo Bus Terminal

The  first departures from the bus terminal between the hours of 0330 and 0500 are at platform 28. Between 0500 and 0005, the departures are from platform 9.
 

 By sea
