We invite you join our welcome reception and dinner on day one of the conference.

We will meet in the hotel bar for a drink and mingle before we enjoy a 3 course dinner in the hotel restaurant.

We have rented the S/V Legend for a 4-hour long boat trip along the coast of the Oslo fjord. The S/V Legend was built in Schweningan in the Netherlands in 1915 as a cargo - and fishing boat. She was used by the Dutch resistance movement during the World War II up to 1944, when she went missing. She was found in 1947 in New Foundland, with no crew on board, and no sign of what had happened to her during all these years. She was brought back to the Netherlands, before she ended up in Norway in 1955, where she was restored as a brig.

Dinner will be served on board. 

You can get to the harbor by yourself, but we recommend you to join our bus transportation directly from the hotel. If we have the time, we will make a 45 minutes stop at Vigeland Sculpture Park (works of the sculpture Gustav Vigeland) on the way.
