Registration for WCTE 2023

Cancellation policy • Cancellation requests must be sent by e-mail to the Conference Secretariat: WCTE@gyro.no Cancellation of conference participation • Cancellations received by 15 April 2023 (midnight CET) will be refunded, minus an administration fee of NOK 600. Refunds will be made after the congress. • From 16 April 2023 no refunds will be granted. • Delegates who do not cancel and do not attend will not be refunded. Substituting a registered delegate with an alternative person is acceptable until 16 April 2023. Cancellation of hotel booking • If cancelled by 15 April 2023 (midnight CET) 50% of your reservation will be refunded. Refunds will be made after the congress. • Cancellations received from 16 April 2023 will not be refunded. Cancellation of 3-days post-tours to Trondheim or Bergen • Cancellations received by 18 April 2023 (midnight CET) will be refunded, minus an administration fee of NOK 600. Refunds will be made after the conference. • From 19 April 2023 no refunds will be granted. Cancellation of 1-day tours and half-day tours • Cancellations received by 15 May 2023 (midnight CET) will be refunded, minus an administration fee of NOK 600. Refunds will be made after the conference. • From 16 May 2023 no refunds will be granted. Cancellation of 3-days pre-tour to Karlstad • Cancellations received by 15 May 2023 (midnight CET) will be refunded, minus an administration fee of NOK 600. Refunds will be made after the conference. • From 16 May 2023 no refunds will be granted. Please note that the conference tours require a minimum number of participants to be carried out, and the organizers reserve the right to cancel tours with insufficient number of bookings. In case tours are cancelled, this will be announced shortly after the booking deadline, and you will be reimbursed. Events outside the organizer's control that make it impossible to carry out the event do not give the right to any refunds. We recommend all participants to take out travel insurance that covers such events. Liability By no means shall WCTE 2023 be held liable, either directly or indirectly, for any problematic issue that may occur within the framework of the Conference and its organization, not only with respect to the organizers but also with respect to third parties (airline companies, hotels, transportation, taxis, etc.) while in the performance of duties or services even indirectly related to the Conference. This contractual liability exemption clause is equally valid in case of an event of force majeure which leads to the disruption and/or the partial or complete cancellation of the Conference programme, for reasons not attributable to WCTE 2023. An event of force majeure is defined as an unforeseen and exceptional event – be it strike, climatic, pandemic, environmental, political or socio-economic – and does not imply any limitation. Furthermore, the delegate also expressly agrees to totally absolve WCTE 2023 from any responsibility and liability with regard to travel insurance and related costs or claims. It is solely up to the individual to seek out and purchase or otherwise obtain the necessary insurance with regards to his/her travel, etc. and/or to independently issue a claim against any third party that may be responsible for direct or indirect losses or damages caused to or suffered by the delegate en route to and from the Conference. Administration fee If you make changes to your registration that requires a new transaction to be made, an administration fee of NOK 150 + VAT will be charged.
