Photography during the conference

The conference will be documented through photography. Our photographers will avoid photographing any close ups without asking for additional approval/denial. 

The photos will primarily be used for internal documentation and reporting purposes.

By actively opting to be listed with your full name and the name of your institution/organization/company on the participant list, you gain valuable networking opportunities, increase your visibility among peers and industry leaders, and enhance your professional connections. Student Identification

In order to register at the student rate, you must upload a photo of a valid student ID for the current semester from an approved institution at BA, MA, or PhD level. The maximum file size for upload is 3.5 MB.

Invitation letter for visa purposes

If you are a participant from a country that requires a VISA to Norway and your visa application is denied, the conference fee will be refunded if you cancel by 10 August 2026. The denial of the visa application must be documented.

• Cancellation requests must be sent by e-mail to the National Organising Committee: icom-cc2026@liwlig.no • Cancellations received by 15 May 2026 (midnight CET) will be refunded, minus an administration fee of NOK 600. Refunds will be made after the Conference. • From 16 May 2026 no refunds will be granted. • Participants who fail to cancel and do not attend will not receive a refund. Events outside the organizer's control that make it impossible to carry out the event do not give the right to any refunds. We recommend all participants to take out travel insurance that covers such events. VAT refund for foreign businesses Foreign businesses may, on application, be entitled to a refund of Value Added Tax (VAT) paid on purchases of goods/services in Norway. Read more about conditions for VAT refund here: https://www.skatteetaten.no/en/business-and-organisation/vat-and-duties/vat/foreign/refund-of-vat-to-foreign-businesses/ Liability By no means shall ICOM, ICOM-CC, the Norwegian National Organising Committee, and/or the PCO be held liable, either directly or indirectly, for any problematic issue that may occur within the framework of the Conference and its organisation, not only with respect to the organizers but also with respect to third parties (airline companies, hotels, transportation, taxis, etc.) while in the performance of duties or services even indirectly related to the Conference. This contractual liability exemption clause is equally valid in case of an event of force majeure which leads to the disruption and/or the partial or complete cancellation of the Conference programme, for reasons not attributable to ICOM or ICOM-CC. An event of force majeure is defined as an unforeseen and exceptional event – be it climatic, pandemic, environmental, political or socio-economic – and does not imply any limitation. Furthermore, registered participants also expressly agree to totally absolve ICOM, ICOM-CC, the Norwegian National Organising Committee, and/or the PCO from any responsibility and liability regarding individual medical, travel or personal insurance and related costs or claims. It is solely up to the individual to seek out and purchase or otherwise obtain the necessary insurance with regards to his/her travel and health, and/or to independently issue a claim against any third party that may be responsible for direct or indirect losses or damages caused to or suffered by the delegate en route to and from the Conference. Administration fee If you make changes to your registration that requires a new transaction to be made, an administration fee of NOK 150 + VAT will be charged.
