Details
With the climate crisis and its growing urgency, the Nordic countries are all working towards lowering emissions quickly enough. In each of the countries there are different initiatives and national tools for water utilities to map their emissions, both for operations and for investments. With such similar ongoing work, there is much to learn from each other and value in sharing, to further accelerate – and possibly also finding new ways to collaborate.
Aim:
- Sharing on the current tools in each of the Nordic countries for mapping climate emissions.
- Discussing needs and gaps from stakeholders using the tools (both utilities, consultants and others), including compliance with the revised wastewater directive.
- Discussing what we can learn from each other on a Nordic level, and looking ahead, are there possible synergies?
